This page is dedicated to me. Only me.
However...
...here's a link to
my brother's website.
This is a picture of me and my family. There's six of us but the cat
didn't want to have her picture taken.
From left to right:
Erik (18), Janne (21), Marian (50), me (24), Ot (54)
I was born on November 13th, 1976.
That makes me both a
Scorpio and a Dragon.
Result of which is that I'm interested in almost anything
concerning astrology or mythology.
My name seems to say something about my character, too. Although
I'm a bit sceptical about that, here's a link to the
Kabalarian
analysis of my name. If you find this sort of thing interesting, why don't you
try it out for yourself?
Some other interesting pages concerning astrology are the
Astrodienst Atlas and Free Chart Service,
which generates your own free astrological chart when you fill in your place, date, and time of birth.
It also provides a daily detailed horoscope.
With your chart in hand you can then go to
Astrology-Numerology.com
to write your own interpretation. They have descriptions of every sign, combinations of signs,
and almost every planet that influences your horoscope. Great fun!
Anyway, in the past twenty-four years I've already done lots of things, met lots of exciting and
boring people, had loads of different jobs (if you don't believe me click
here to see my resume), read many shelves of books,
saw the ins and outs of almost every major European city, and had lots of fun.
All of which you can find featured here somewhere on my homely pages.
Interested in pics of me, my friends, family, and pets? Really interested? Then you may enter my photo album.
Books are my grand passion. I'm still labouring over the HTML to create my own bookshop here, which will feature those books that I'd think anyone would love. And browsing around bookshops is something I love as well, whether in real-life mustiness or on-line.
Some of my favourite poets are W.H. Auden,
Philip
Larkin, Seamus Heaney and
Emily Dickinson. I've put up a couple of pages with a few of my favourite poems, but
perhaps you're a link-happy person and already found out...
Furthermore, I am totally hooked on the Discworld novels
by Terry Pratchett, and the cyberpunk (or whatever it is) of Iain M. Banks. Haven't read any
of his regular fiction so far, but I've heard they're just as good.
By the way:
Do you want to see my Undies?
Well, they're not strictly mine, but I am one of the regular contributors and
poetry editor of our great mag
Underdog.
Now online!!!
If you suddenly feel the strange but overwhelming urge to contribute something, ...
It's the Internet honey, no-one can stop you.
I love music, too. I'm a bit of an auditorial omnivore; I like almost anything. From Tori Amos to Satie, from Marilyn Manson to Ella Fitzgerald, from Sting to Skunk Anansie. My freak in music is that I collect lyrics. I have about 2500 different song lyrics on my hard disk, but I'm afraid I'd be doing something illegal if I put 'em up here, much though I'd love to...
One of my absolute favourite groups is the Divine Comedy, of not-quite world-wide fame. (Basically, no-one outside the UK has ever heard of them). Still, front man Neil Hannon writes the greatest lyrics I've ever heard. For a sample, go to the Indulgence website, which also features interviews and other interesting trivia about the Divine Comedy, and in my opinion is the best Divine Comedy site on the 'Net.
I want to take my pleasures where and how I will, be they disgraceful, distasteful or distilled...
